The CS 539 family
The round knife cutting machine serial type Cs 539 has been developed mainly for the textile industry to cut knitted and woven fabrics, linings, etc., but can be used also for other materials like nonwovens, plastics, carpets, films, artificial leathers, foams.
This machine works very well when cutting slippery materials since the even, smooth rotation of the round knife does not cause slipping apart of the layers which can happen when using straight knife cutting machines. In case of harder or sticky materials and especially for high lays consisting of many layers this machine is available to cut along straight or flat curved lines to avoid the difference of pieces coming from the lower and upper layers.
Sharpening of the round knife is executed mechanically.
